The state of the leading research institute in Ukraine was determined by the co-ordinative role of the leading specialists of the Institute in organisation of joint studies together with the scientists of the other research institutions in Ukraine and European countries. Sometimes UIAR co-ordinated the scientific research of more then 60 institutions. Now the Institute is the leading executor of the State program on elimination of consequences of ChNPP accident in the "Agricultural radiology" part.
